Baby Boom

It has been a mini whirlwind of newborn photo sessions and baby pics! As a newborn photographer, I am finding more and more that people like it when I come to them for their newborn session. It is more comfortable for mom and baby to be in their own home. Also, for many, this is a good opportunity to get some pictures in the nursery. Parents work hard to create a beautiful and peaceful space for their little one and it is nice to be able to capture some details from it in a portrait. Because I am going into the home for newborn sessions, I have fine-tuned how I travel with props, wraps and my backdrop stand. Lighting is also important, so I have found that my portable LED light is a life saver! Here are a few photos of my latest newborn sessions!

Of course, I certainly do not mind people coming to me either! Here a few from my grandson's 6-month photo shoot. They turned out pretty cute. It amazes me how much these tiny newborns grow and change in 6 months!
