Baby Boy Kai

When I first started shooting newborns, I thought it was hard- even though I love everything about babies! Now that I have done many sessions and have added to my collection of wraps and props, I am finding how much I love to shoot newborn sessions! Not that I would say it is easy all the time- it is not. But I have learned that patience is key- I cannot stress if a baby does not want to sleep. AND...I really try to pass that idea on to parents. Do not stress if your baby is not sleeping, or needs to be fed during the session. It is all just part of a newborn session. No matter what, we will get some really nice portraits that showcase your special little one! And that is what we got with little Kai. It took some time and patience- he did not like me messing with him nor did he like having his outfit changed! But, by taking our time, we got some pretty beautiful pictures of this pretty perfect little boy!

It was fun to be a part of this session as I have been so blessed to be there when Brittany and Chad were married- and now to see them with their handsome little man. Here are some from the newborn session and the maternity session!
