One of the best things about starting this photography business is the people. Meeting people and forming relationships. I met Chloe a year ago, when I was so blessed to be her newborn photographer. Then, I got to see her again when she was 6 months old! My how she changed. She was a little go getter...crawling all over the place! Not the usual 6-month-old that you can plop down and take tons of photos because they can't get anywhere! We put her in a bucket, to keep her in one place. She was smiley as could be and we got some great photos! Now, one year later, I was again so honored to take her one-year portraits. Now, the thing with a one-year- old is that they have a mind of their own. They like to explore and move. They really don't want to sit and just smile for a camera. They are also little bit shy at this point in their young lives. Being patient and trying to get candid shots with play is helpful! With Chloe, she was all of these things!
We still managed to get some cute ones indoors and then popped outside for a couple quick ones in the sled! She loved that and we were able to get some really cute smiles from her! As a portrait photographer, I know how blessed I am to have a family choose me to capture their littles special moments! Here are a few moments from Chloes sessions. I love to see how she has grown!
